Release Date: December 12, 2015
Price: $220

Commemorating the Chicago Bulls’ historic 1995-96 NBA season when they won a record 72 regular season games en route to their fourth championship, the Air Jordan 11 72-10 is this year’s Holiday Air Jordan 11 release. Featuring the usual glossy (perhaps glossier?) patent leather upper and translucent outsole, the 72-10 could easily pass for an OG colorway at first glance. However, replacing the ballistic mesh found on the upper of most 11s will be premium leather material, an embossed Jumpman on the back heel and the tag that mentions the Bulls’ accomplishment.

WIN THE 72-10 ALONG WITH A MAROON 6 AND AQUA 8!

Author’s Takes:

Juan Martinez, Editor-In-Chief: It’s been a long time since I’ve been genuinely excited for an Air Jordan 11 Holiday release and the wait continues. It just feels like a “playing it safe” colorway. While I would definitely pick up a pair of these if I could get them at retail, I can’t say it’s a must-have for me like a pair of Space Jams or Cool Greys are. I also wish Jordan Brand would be a little bit more daring with their 11 drops, but I guess that’s what the summertime lows are for.
