Sirens

eVigilo IADC integrates with the existing sirens network. With a CAP interface, automatic alerts generated through the existing sensor network will initiate the respective sirens in a geographically defined area. Manually generated notifications to any of the gateways will also trigger the respective sirens (if required and defined by a manager) in a predefined polygon. Therefore, it is possible to achieve granulation going down to the level of a single siren. With integration of digital sirens over IP, the IADC platform also enables the distribution of vocal instructions by uploading MP3, WMV or any equivalent file so that also people with reading disabilities can also obtain the information. To ensure highest SLA it is recommended to use multiple delivery channels to the sirens and as such ensure that required signal will be delivered regardless the network status.
